Javier Navas Fabregat,
This project is located in Prague 4 and was accomplished in November 2019. It is about a 5-storey residential building consisting of 13 apartments. The total plot area is 850 sq m while the built up area is 513 sq m.
Vila Hodkovičky reflects our motto "We think global, we stand local". Our project -designed by an international team - brings a new trend in housing which can be called ‚‘city housing‘‘. At the same time it constitutes a combination of family housing and smaller housing units in a compact development.
The villa reflects modern trends in the applied materials which correspond with the context of the area. Additionally it provides an unprecedented amount of greenery in this district of Prague.
All apartments were designed to offer the highest possible standards with their size and layout while avoiding the non-useful areas.
We have given great emphasis on the concept of interior living space and the connection with the exterior, because we believe that the culture of living does not end behind apartment’s doors.
For those reasons we have designed and accomplished a sample apartment as part of the interior design’s process.
The sample apartment is equipped with high quality furniture and sanitary facilities.
Also, the common spaces such as the lobby, the front gardens etc were designed with sensitivity and in absolute correspondence with the materials in use both in the interior and exterior.
The lobby is decorated with greenery and it is complemented with a stunning lighting piece made by bamboo plywood which refers to the nature. Same kind of unique lighting pieces is used also in the sample apartment.
The building also has a green roof which contributes to the concept of a more sustainable design because we strongly believe that every detail matters.
