The Bohemian

Walking down a bustling street, you come across a thrift store. A unique piece of furniture catches your eye. The city life around inspires you so you decide to buy the old piece of wood. Repair. Repaint. Reinvent. And you now have a piece of exotic-looking furniture set in your living room. Now, is your room Bohemian? Absolutely. This is the beauty of the Boho. It is a style bound to no rules and nobody’s judgment. Bohemian is inspired by people who lead an unconventional life. It's a free-spirited aesthetic rooted in cultural mixing and an artistic sensibility.

Life in rosy hues

It's visibly every bohemian’s dream: verdant botanicals, vintage furniture,
old carpets and bold layering of colors and patterns. This description
sounds too standardized, doesn’t it? If you were to imagine someone
adhering to a bohemian lifestyle, you would easily visualize their hippie
inspired outfits and their typical aesthetic interior home design. In case
picturing it feels like a difficult task; books, magazines and blogs are
filled with tips that have simplified the essence of bohemia into a
conventionalized definition.

Bohemian Design

Our concept of Bohemian design focuses on the beauty of the lifestyle that encourages individuality , uniqueness and personalised sense of aesthetic. Anything that our brain desires or interprets as suitable for our ambience according to our aesthetic sensibilities caters to the bohemian style. Human brain can be very erratic and can spontaneously get attached or develop a liking towards anything , whether it be a hobby, food, a colour or a piece of furniture. Bohemian is such a design style that accepts you and your ideas irrespective of your surroundings , background and financial status. We wanted to depict this philosophy of bohemianism through our moodboard and educate people about the design style.
