"Inner Child" is a part of the subconscious existing in a person's deepest heart that has been picking messages way before it was able to fully process what was going on (mentally and emotionally). It holds emotions, memories and beliefs from the past as well as hopes and dreams for the future.

When people grew up with fighting parents or in a broken family, the existing inner child in their deepest heart got wounded, and if the inner child continues to hold onto those painful experiences and the adolescent trauma is not resolved, it will affect adulthood causing depression, anxiety and even aggression. Hence, the project aims to help them heal the wounds in their inner child and live in the society a bit more confidently, happily and freely.

To heal them, they need to know that they are not the only person who faced the painful experiences and people also have ugly hidden memories. No one is perfect and that they are not to blame for the things happened in the past.

The fact that "no one is perfect" is expressed by the exhibition building which seems perfectly fine on the outside but has scars, darkness and unwelcoming feelings on the inside. It is hoped for the people to overcome their ugly "Memories" as they walk through the building which becomes brighter to the end of it.

The water curtain bridge is "The Journey" to the new future. With the soothing sound of water falling, as people walk through the bridge, they are told that "what had happened in the past are behind them" and a welcoming future is ahead.

At the end of the bridge, there is "The Inception" where a new future starts. It is a place to tell them that "they are not alone" and they can get a more intimate family and friends there. With the help of nature and activities, the inception will be a warm, safe and friendly environment.
